The hotel is family owned and family run. The staff are fantastic. Jose, the primary manager was extraordinary. I confronted him series of issues and he solved them all. It was quite a last minute booking at the Hotel Marea, but in the end it was one of the best of our trip to Galicia, if not the best. The Hotel is right by the sea, near a small beach, in a very quiet and beautiful environment. Our room was big, perfectly clean, everything was fine and new, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The check in was very easy and quick, the staff were very friendly (as always in Galicia). We could easily park the car on the road by the sea free of charge.

The hotel is family run and they were very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable, breakfast was nice and there is free on street parking or off street parking (also free) nearby. The pool area was nice - it is near to a road so there is some traffic noise but it wasn't a problem. Generally, the location is excellent for accessing the beach, bars and restaurants - a good variety within 1.5km
