A superb location, clean with plenty of quiet. It's right on the Camino del Norte. I stopped here for 2 days, because it rained continuously. But with Ms. Maria's recommendations on where to walk and where to have lunch, I didn't feel like I stayed that long. I highly recommend, and on my next vacation or Camino I will definitely come back.

Everything ignore the flies comments etc it's Spain they are everywhere and wasn't even that bad. Owners are very friendly and 1 does speak a but of english but they use a translator on phone if don't know what the right word is. The locals are great the food is great.loved this little hidden diamond.

Great location for exploring Picos de Europa. We found ourselves in a nice room with a balcony/porch with absolutely stunning views over the mountains. Breakfast was really nice, too. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They also prepare home made dinners, although the menu is pretty limited. There is also a nice self-service bar with a great variety of drinks (which we did not use but looked awesome :)) Make sure you try their house cider!

Gorgeous large room with luxury toiletries, large comfortable bed and super quiet. Beautiful view. Wonderful place for a special stay - worth the short detour off the Camino route (easy to walk but they’ll arrange a taxi). We didn’t feel like going back into town for dinner so pre-arranged a charcuterie platter and wine for the evening. It generously fed 3 of us. Breakfast was excellent and totally worth having. Staff are lovely and very helpful.

I was looking for somewhere quiet to stay and La Casona was peaceful and restful. The house is charming and Amelia went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I wanted. The breakfast was superb with a variety of delicious foods. The house and my bedroom/bathroom were spotlessly clean every day. I had a delightful stay and I thoroughly recommend La Casona deTresgrandas.

    This is a kind of roadhouse on the Camino route, and while it isn't the most glamorous-looking place to stay it is certainly very friendly. The rooms are over a restaurant, which serves excellent cheap food and great coffee. The bed linen is really very posh, always a good sign in a hotel. You can walk to the beach easily in quarter of an hour.
