Before our arrival Juan contacted with me by WhatsApp and gave all instructions about check-in and accomodation. He was waiting for us despite late hour and showed entire apartment. The place was really clean and neat, also equipped with hygiene products in bathroom. Moreover, we got welcome wine, beers and a few snacks what was so kind. Apartment is completely as described. Also parking spot was exclusively for us. The beach was 2 minutes on foot. We are really satisfied and hoping that we will have an opportunity to come back. It's well deserved 10.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and a very quiet location with a relaxing, quiet swimming pool area. The apartment had all the up to date ameneties, including a diswasher. The balcony was a good spacious size and had sun most of the day which was lovely to sit and read, have breakfast and enjoy the beautiful view. Security on the entrance was very thorough and it was easy to collect the keys to enter the property on arrival. There is a 10-13 minute walk to Duquesa Port which gives the main area for eating and beaches. You probably need a car if you wish to go to the supermarket or if you don't want to walk to Duquesa Port.

Dear Adriana, We are so grateful for the exceptional customer service provided by yourself during our stay. The view of the ocean and access to beach in walking distance is fantastic!. They only downfall is there is no crossing from the main road that an be tricky so take caution at the round about. We had car which made it accessible to travel to other small towns and beaches in the area however I believe the (Playa de la Duquesa) beach in walking distance is truly the best. It has crystal clear water. We saw dolphins swim by some mornings. There is also a cafe just above the beach ( Chiringuito Malinga Beach) that serve homemade menu that is great after a swim in the ocean with exceptional view of the sea. You can also walk/paddle board south along the beach to (Playa de la Chulerra) where you can also enjoy clear waters and another cafe. The location is a great alternative for families or couples that dont want to stay in the town centres near by. You must have a car as there isn't any close stores or restaurants to eat bedsides the cafes on the beach. Gym and 2 pools are great and easily accessible, your car is safely parked with access to the apartment by lift. We loved that our small 15 year old could stay cool in the air conditioned apartment while we head out for some hours. Highly recommend the apartment with all the facilities needed and stunning sunrise /sunsets each day !

    We went on the Nilva wine tour, went to the museum and...

    We went on the Nilva wine tour, went to the museum and winery then on to the vineyards. Maggi was our guide and she was brilliant, really knowledgeable about Nilva wines and told us the idea behind the tours was to keep the winery open and making wine as it is the only winery producing wine in the area now. If you go to Manilva please go on the tour and support this small family run winery, only produces 6000 bottles of wine per year all done by hand grapes picked by hand the wine making and botteling is all by hand, very labour intensive but they are so proud of what thee do and with good cause. 👍

    Plenty of shops along the main road for self catering but good choice of restaurants for nights out. Local gym for those that want it, which do weekly rates for tourists. About an hour from Malaga so a car is needed, but that allows you to do trips to Gibraltar, Rhonda or Juzcar (the blue smurf village).

    The location was so beautiful, especially from the pool side. The apartment was very clean, and the size of the rooms were perfect very spacious. I would definitely recommend, and I would definitely come back again.

    Everything was quite good about the location and view.

    Everything was quite good about the location and view. The sofa and beds too old but for the location of the apartment was way accepted. Only had to pay 50 euros extra at checking in when I arrived after 23h for 5minutes, when I was texting the host that I am quite lost., I personally see that not fair.

    Manilva maintains some of its charm as an old fishing...

    Manilva maintains some of its charm as an old fishing village, especially the area around Sabinillas with it's beachside restaurants filled with Spanish families eating lunch. The promenade is great for a long walk that takes you all the way to Estepona if you want to walk that long, and there are some lovely quiet beaches a little further down towards La Paloma. The Marina is a lively place with every variety of food from around the word. Bars with entertainment and it's a fabulous place to sip a coffee or cocktail, people watch and watch the boats come in and out. It's a place for a quieter holiday with breathe taking views from the mountains and plenty of water activities in the summer. A central location for a base to explore the area it's 5 minutes to Casares, 15 minutes to Sotogrande, 30 minutes to Gibraltar and 20 minutes to Estepona.

    We were pleasantly surprised with Manilva.

    We were pleasantly surprised with Manilva. It has a couple of closely linked areas and, although it was low season, there was enough to provide us with places to eat, drink and shop. It's definitely a walker's paradise - miles of roads and coastal paths to walk. The port at Duquesa is lovely - friendly bars and restaurants and pretty view of teh marina. The Quay bar does an amazing Irish cooked breakfast - definitely recommend that. There is an amazing tapas bar 'La Cabana de Rocio' just off the front - delicious empanadas. The Argentinian steak restaurant 'Victor' is superb for meat lovers. If you are in the port area, Arkwrights sells just about everything you can think of if you have forgotten something.

    have stayed at manilva sun numerous times. staff are always very friendly and helpful and apartments clean and comfortable. there is a pool and small shop on site and good wifi in the rooms. always happy here, in a good area with things close by (Duquesa, Estepona, Marbella, Gibraltar and beaches) and plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a gym just down on the main road, for those that like to stay fit

    A beautiful apartment with sea views in a lovely gated development. Decor is tasteful and modern and everything a guest could need has been thought of. Our host was super helpful, answered queries very promptly and gave us additional advice about local services and amenities. A short drive or walk to a quiet and unspoilt beach and within easy driving or taxi distance of Manilva and Estepone town centres.

    Amazing views and a nice pool area that wasn't too busy when I was there. Nice apartment with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The walk to the beach wasn't too bad but the uphill walk back was harder but manageable and Manilva was a few minutes walk away so the location was good even without a car.
