The hotel itself situated in historic building. Absolutely amazing atmosphere with personal touch. Rooms big, well decorated with all facility you need. Dining there as well as breakfast were delicious and touchy.

This is a hotel with a very high European level of service. I haven't rested with such pleasure for a long time! Cleanliness, comfort, the friendliest team. The road to it passes through a picturesque mountainous area. The journey to Madrid is less than an hour. The hotel's restaurant deserves special attention - it's a masterpiece!!! This is a very nice and well located hotel on the Plaza de San Diego in the center of Alcala de Henares. The hotel shares the Plaza de San Diego with the University of Alcalá, formerly the Universidad Complutense. First of all, the staff at the hotel, reception, cafeteria and housekeeping are very helpful and friendly and have been with us throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The tables in the restaurant, some of them outside, allowed us to enjoy the historic beauty of the Plaza de San Diego in the shade of the hotel building on hot summer afternoons while sipping a refreshing summer red wine. The central location of the hotel, in the pedestrian area of the city, allowed us to explore this World Heritage City in a peaceful atmosphere. Finally, the price is very reasonable compared to the historical richness of the place.

Travelodge Alcalá de Henares is a modern and functional 3-star hotel with 108 comfortable and well-equipped rooms.

The staff at the reception were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food at the cafe was very affordable and nice - a great value for money! It's also very close to public transport - both train and buses - which helped us a lot as we did a fair bit of touring into central Madrid. Alcala de henares itself is also a very lovely town with a lot to see, and its town centre is just one stop away from La Garena station which is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely consider staying here. Highly recommended!
