Loved the character of the property with its stone walls. Staff greeted us at check in and left us alone the rest of the time, although it may have been nice to see someone around breakfast to ask any potential question.

The people who work in this hotel are simply magnificent: Thoroughly professional, always kind and helpful. Hotel Torques went out of their way to accomodate me when other arrangements made for 2 nights in A Coruna collapsed (a scam of some sort). I am ever so grateful to all the staff: I was sorry to leave without being able to say Adios & Gracias to each of them. The heart of this hotel is the bar restaurant. I never ever saw it closed and it always buzzed with life and atmosphere. Whatever the time or day, they fed me - and the food was always very good. Dont be put off by the fact that Hotel Torques is located on an industrial estate at Bergondo beside highway AC-164, about 7km North of Betanzos, within easy reach of A Coruna & Ferrol. Everything spotlessly clean including the comfortable en-suite rooms
