Our bed was comfortable and the sound insulation was good, so we slept well. We had our own private space, including a roof terrace, which was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. There was variety of things to eat, it was plentiful and pleasantly presented. Our hosts' attention to detail and our comfort was a refreshing change from many experiences. We did not feel like an intrusion in their home, rather that we were welcome. Contact was easy, friendly, yet respectful. The location surprised me: it was much more convenient as a base to explore the region than I had imagined. Access to the highway is simple and Loja is an easy ten minute drive. Loja has a few good restaurants. It is excellent value for money and I strongly recommend it.

We loved the character of the building, which was spotless. All staff were more than helpful and friendly, and the food was excellent. The late breakfast/check-out was the icing on the cake...such a treat! We really enjoyed our stay, so much so that we plan to return again next time we're passing that way, and we are happy to recommend it to our friends. The location of the hotel is perfect for an overnight stop-off, like ours, to break up an otherwise very long journey.

    We were just passing through Salar on our way to our...

    We were just passing through Salar on our way to our relatives a little further south. We had planned to arrive a bit earlier, but since our car broke down on our way there, we arrived later than expected and didn't have much time to take a longer stroll around the village and enjoy the surroundings. This is a very beautiful location, and we are definitely going to return some day.
