Unique experience with the room balcony directly overlooking the elephants' enclosure in Cabarcéno! Very clean, large and comfortable room. Jacuzzi bath! Very good continental breakfast. Mini fridge in the room and the kettle was a rare feature for Spanish hotels.

This is a place in heaven! Beautiful, calm, positioned in the green hills near Santander, this is heaven on earth. The super friendly hosts, Juan and his mother are the kindest people in the world and do everything to make you feel good. The views are sensational. I will go back.

We have stayed several times. Luis and his wife are very friendly. There used to be an on site restaurant that was run separate to the hotel. That has closed and now luis's wife cooks dinner and breakfast for you. It's very good home cooking. The hotel is an old 13th century manor house set in wonderful gardens. There are a few bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the road.
