El Batan was the perfect stay on the way between Albarracin and Toledo. The room is very confortable and quiet. The breakfast is really good money for value. Jamon iberico, olives, croissants, cheese, fresh tomato sauce... it was a great start of the day to continue our journey through Spain.

Very nice welcome by the hosts, on the first day we recived home made pastry and durign our stay we were well looked after, thank you very much. The main puprose of our trip was bouldering in Albarracín, a positive surprise was that in place there were two crash pads available for our use.

    The village itself is a bit underwhelming.

    The village itself is a bit underwhelming. The bar is a typical "spanish village bar" with a good selection of vermouth. The raciones looked good, but the kitchen was closed. Very friendly. Nice hiking tours around the village are possbile.

    Here you go for the 1* restaurant. The dinner (fixed menu, as in many 1* restaurants) was excellent (including the wine pairing - special price for hotel guests). The rooms is very comfy, with a small terrace overlooking the landscape behind the hotel. The service/personal was very good: the bar was always open (until midnight) with a good selection of beers, wines, vermouths, gins... The treatment was perfect.
