Warm welcome by José and his wife. We loved everything from our staying. Very child & dog friendly. And what an amazing view. Okay the rooms are a little bit old but it is so charming. Whenever we are back in Basque country we will stay there again. Very tasty Cider and Apple Juice.

It was a great comfortable stay at the hotel. Great staff at the reception and very helpful with all inquiries. The room was super comfy with all amenities that one might need. I also liked the swimming pool BUT I would have liked to have umbrellas for shade and for the pool to be open after 8 pm (it was light until at least 9/10 pm). Also, loved the restaurant Alea they have in the hotel, so delicious!

    This is a fantastic little hotel. Very modern with really excellent facilities. We stayed there ahead of our ferry crossing from Bilbao. It was a perfect position, just 90 minutes from Bilbao. Plenty of parking space. If you stay, you must try the restaurant next door (and part of the same management). It is a bodega and they have all sorts of wine and cider on draught, and you just help yourself the fixed price of €5.80. The food is very good.

    The hotel is absolutely fabulous. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. We couldn't have asked for more. For us the location was superb, set in beautiful and quiet countryside, but just a short drive into San Sebastian. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast. Thanks to Inigo for your help. Would love to return, and we will recommend to our friends, and to anyone who is travelling to the area.

    Lovely tranquil setting in the countryside outside Donostia and a short drive above Usurbil. We were made feel really welcome and comfortable. No dinner service - purely because the family were busy bottling the year's cider - on this occasion but a very generous breakfast provided at €6 per person.

    The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building that was recently renovated. The breakfast area is relatively small, but the breakfast itself was good and (by Spanish standards) plentiful (including fresh orange juice). Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well equipped!
