Terrific location - quiet with mountain views. Individual lodges, heated by woodburning stove. Outstanding fixed price evening meal - I had starter of leeks baked with cheese and ham in sauce. Much tastier than the one I had in the Parador at Mérida! Then beautiful baked bake plus pud, wine or beer and coffee for about 20 euros. Lots of parking, spacious public rooms and outdoor seating too - both at each lodge and by the restaurant.

A fabulous family run hotel led by the lovely Mer, assisted by her son and recently retired husband. Such delightful, friendly people who couldn't have made me feel more welcome if they'd tried. As a solo traveller, always important. Mer is an amazing cook and although the restaurant is no longer open, she made an exception for me and gave me the most delicious food which I will never forget. My room was perfect, the Wi-Fi was good which is something else that is important and necessary for me on my solo trips. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely place, it was my pleasure to stay there.

When I arrived early soaked though ,the host did not blink an eye,,he lets us in early,,, he even show me the local eatteries...... At the time of arrival (because of the weather )I mentioned that I may stay 2 nights,but next day the weather had cleared so I carried on my jounery,,,unfortually not seeing and saying farewell to my hostes.... Yes I would say its a fair price,clean and warm ,,whats not to like !!!!!!
