Unfortunately I did not stay at this property, it was extremely hard to find, my phone did not work in the area so could not call for advice, when I did find tge property I knocked and waited outside for 4 to 5 minutes before someone came to answer, you cannot park nesr the property, I agreed with the owner that I would find parking and come vack with my bag, I did park only 3 minutes to walk back to the property and again when I got back I knocked and waited again for 4 to 5 minutes and nobody came to answer so I simply left and found an alternative down from the mountain. Perhaps the owner should fix the doorbell, that would help everyone unless of course it does work but he ignores it!!!!

Incredible location in a tiny village in the mountains. A winding road to the hotel revealed beautiful views of rural Spain. Our rooms were spacious and reflected the history of the building and village. The food was delicious as well.

The hotel is very charming, watched out to the very last detail, decoration with a lot of taste and love. Treatment from the owners Lisa and Werner couldn't be any better. They know their business very well, know how to take an excellent care of their guests, always with a smile and ready to help acommodating every request, they are also discreet and kind. Room was spacious and beautiful, bed better than excepted. Various parts of the hotel like the rooftop terrace, the patio and the amazing SPA give you freedom and privacy. We deeply relaxed during those two days.

Our stay at the Alahuar Hotel was wonderful. The location is fantastic, the bungalow was beautiful, tidy, with a balcony and a view of the mountains. There was a pool with sun loungers. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The restaurant dishes were excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff! Owner showed us the area where you can make breakfast but we did not use it. We only stayed one night to meet up with my brother who lives near Pego. Could check in earlier, that was very convenient for us! We had a good nights sleep in an awesome doublebed.

An exceptional place – a beautifully restored building full of character, set in a stunning, green mountain area. The interiors are thoughtfully designed with great attention to guest comfort. We had the most restful sleep we’ve had in a long time thanks to the cozy, comfortable room and fantastic amenities, making it really easy to relax in no time. The owners are incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely friendly. We enjoyed delicious tapas in the evening and a fantastic breakfast, with thoughtful accommodation of a vegetarian diet. We truly regret staying only one night. We would love to come back and highly recommend this place!

Beautiful old Spanish town house with original features. Very well maintained and updated. Manager/owner was extremely helpful and approachable. We had continental breakfast which was very nice, fresh with lots of options and drinks available. An honesty bar was even better! Nice courtyard with a lovely balcony overlooking it.p
