Very nice overnight stay at HiljaHelena. Easy to find, quick and friendly check in, and really tidy, comfortable room. This is a small and unique hotel, where every detail is carefully thought and it aims to make the guests feel almost at home. I had a good sleep, beds are good, spacy bathroom, bathrobes are provided to visit the sauna. There is a nice lounge, where guests can also eat their own food for dinner. Breakfast was good and fresh, and prepared individually, which prevents also food waste. Warmly recommend this hotel.

Kind staff and excellent breakfast with a variety of choices! Bonus points for a real jar of Nutella (not some knock-off many hotels serve) at breakfast, delicious with some flaky croissants and a cup of coffee.

I had the pleasure of staying at this most welcoming hotel, and I must say, it felt as though kindness itself had taken up permanent residence here. The staff are, without exaggeration, the finest I have ever encountered — radiating such warmth and friendship that one almost wonders whether the very walls of the hotel have absorbed their good nature. Everything was simply excellent, and I extend my sincere thanks to all who make this hotel, and indeed the city of Seinäjoki, such a delight. One might even say that in Finland, where modesty is a national sport, this hotel dares to be unapologetically excellent.

The hotel is in a quiet location, but not far from the main through road. There is ample parking for both cars and larger vehicles (a flat bed truck towing a car trailer in our case). The room was clean and comfortable. A mini-bar was provided. The food served in the restaurant is very good in general, but exceptional with regard to the steaks. I had one of the best steaks I have ever had on the second night of my stay. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and of good quality. There is a guest sauna which my Finnish friend was keen to avail himself of. The staff are friendly, and professional and speak English, for those of us not (yet) fluent in Finnish. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and on our next trip down from Salla to Jalasjärvi, we will be staying at the Hotel Kurikka again.

Room rates fair level. Location is a little bit outside in the "centrum", but in hotel you find what you need. Personnel very friendly and you can also meet owner here. Thanks Reima for the good conversation. Easy to find hotel and Seinäjoki industrial areas has reachable well.
