Staying at the Runavik Hotel was a very nice part of our trip to the Faroe Islands. We stayed for one night at first, but ended up staying for two more nights. The central location of the hotel was convenient for us, with nowhere far to go. We were also given a complimentary upgrade to the best room and although Booking didn't advertise it, breakfast was part of our stay. Everyone in the restaurant was also very nice, both the lady who took care of breakfast and the lady who served us for dinner. The breakfast deserves a special comment as it was very varied - sweet, savoury pastries, sausages, eggs, cold cuts, a wide range of cheeses, cereals etc. We can really recommend a stay in the hotel to anyone looking for comfort when travelling around the beautiful Faroe Islands.

VisitHOMES is very centralised located to explore the different Islands. The hostess is very friendly, discreate and a good source of info about the Islands. The room was perfect for a solo traveller. The breakfast is a real plus. The products are high standard and a good selection. The breakfast room is cosy and with a sincere exchange between guests and host before heading up to explore the Islands.

This is trully a fantastic place to stay! The views can’t be compared to anything else. The house itself was really clean and well equipped. The host is very responsive and kind. Be aware that the island is pretty isolated, there are for example no regular shops, so don’t forget to get groceries in advance. I also recommend booking ferry both ways to be sure, there’s enough space for your car.
