The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They were super helpful with advising about local restaurants, the bakery and supermarket as well as local attractions. We liked the location as it was quite convenient for visiting the Loire Valley - just off the Motorway but we were not disturbed by any traffic noise. The bedrooms were lovely with comfortable beds and one has a pretty view of the property's lake.

Friendly staff. Very good quality room with view of river overlooking the Loire. Good location. Close to one of the best restaurants in Saumur, Le Pot de Lapin. Lovely open space garden at back. Very welcoming to dogs, would not have used this hotel if not.

The Chateau was stunning. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was beautiful, elegant and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurants near by. All in all a wonderful stay and will be back.
