The town (of about 25 residents) and the hotel are from a different era, a nicer one. Very welcoming staff and a restaurant that is the gem of the region. It has quite a few tables and it is always full. Food is Great, prices are very fair and you can tell that people from neighboring towns come here regularly. The hotel and restaurant are family run and you can tell their commitment to service. The room was very clean and has all you need for a nice rest after driving around in the area or visiting medieval towns, like this one. The big extra was coming to the room, opening the window and having the castle right in front, magnificent view. You can hear the water of the river that runs next to the hotel and it is quite soothing. Very calm at night, lovely place to relax. Thanks!

In a lovely little town , this was a stop off for us on our way south, a very warm welcome on arrival which continued till we left. We had drinks in the bar and food in the restaurant. Both were fantastic value for money as was the room cost. Free parking onsite too for our little Renault 4 ( Quatrelle) . Perfect stop off for any traveller .
