The hotel was beautiful and clean, our room was lovely too. We didn't have breakfast so I cannot comment but the dinner was absolutely fantastic. We had travelled all week through Switzerland, Germany and France and ate in Michelin star restaurants and I must say the dinner here was far better, well done to the Chef - each course was excellent.

We loved everything about this place. The accommodation is immaculate. The owners have exceptional taste & have established a beautiful, relaxing environment for their guests. Bruno was very helpful & provided us with useful local information for our 1 night stay. The location is also perfect for a bit of sight seeing & eating out all on foot. It was a fabulous end to our French holiday before crossing the tunnel, which is only 30 mins away.

Excellent location within easy driving distance from Eurotunnel and 'typically French' with authentic features. (A must for watermill enthusiasts with much of the original equipment.) Perfect location for cyclists with beautiful countryside. The hostess is very friendly (with good English) and the breakfast was exceptional..

    Quiet village, rural surroundings but handy to the bigger...

    Quiet village, rural surroundings but handy to the bigger and busier town of Ardres. I ate at the local Camp St Louis, close to Le Petit Tambour and adequate rather than impressive gastronomically, though certainly popular with campers and others. Other restaurants are available in Ardres, as is at least one supermarket selling petrol. Autingues would be a pleasant centre for exploring the Pas de Calais - two of my fellow guests were on a cycling tour.
