Barr is an idyllic quiet town surrounded by gorgeous vineyards. It is very walkable and has regular trains passing through. Everyone was very friendly and even though I didn’t speak French, I got around with gestures and smiles. It spoke for itself that there were quite a number of guests happily nursing their tea while reading their books or chatting with other guests.
