We recently spent 16 days touring around Brittany and booked a night in the Ker Vennaik Hotel. We thought we had booked for a Saturday night but upon arrival at the hotel realized that we had booked Sunday by mistake. The couple running the hotel could not have been more helpful, and quickly arranged accommodation in a nearby hotel for Saturday night, due to a last minute cancellation. We subsequently spent Sunday night in the Ker Vennaik, gigantic TV in room, very good breakfast. We paid for the room on check out and headed off on our travels. A little later we got a call from the hotel to say we had paid twice, once to Booking.com and again when leaving. They arranged to credit the second payment back to our account. A washbag with toiletries had also been left behind but as we were not going back in that direction we said we no longer needed it. We were very impressed with the helpfulness of the lovely couple running the hotel and their honesty in letting us know we had paid twice. The hotel is close to the pretty harbour of Benodet and guest parking is provided. A most enjoyable stay, highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in great location. It was very clean and our room looked newly renovated. Huge, very well equipped ensuite. It was extremely hot - 32 degrees - when we stayed so air conditioning would have been nice. However, I guess there's not a need for it normally. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with so many different choices. I would highly recommend a stay and would definitely return. xx

I liked everything about the property: The old nostalgic castle paired with modern equipment and a wonderful sense of interior design. Each room was a piece of art and you fell instantly at home. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and shown everything directly by the crew. I should feel at home, they said. This was not just a phrase, it was really so. So a hostess organized without further ado that I could have a massage (although this should have been reserved on the day before). In the evening they prepared for me a plate aux charcuterie and offered tea à discretion. I could use the 29 degrees heated pool & Jacuzzi at any time and looked at the same time over the fields to the sailing port of Bénodet. In the morning I was asked if I had slept well and if I would find everything at the breakfast buffet. I am sure they would have arranged it otherwise. I felt perfectly taken care of and will definitely stop by again.

The apartment was lovely, it overlooked the sea, and the pool, the balcony area was ideal to enjoy a glass of wine and relax. The apartment was a short stroll to the beach, the pool area was lovely, the whole complex was very quiet, well maintained grounds.

    Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors alike! The only downside was a lack of a coffee shop/bakery opened during our stay (October!) However our main reason for visiting was to show kids where their dad grew up and we couldn’t wish for a better long weekend! Highly recommend it! Bonus points for Heated Pool in our property we stayed and fantastic running trails!

    Comfy bed, well-equipped apartment, exceptionally clean, great location. Highly recommended. Great for visiting Quimper and Concarneau as well as the rest of South Finistere. Good local restaurants within easy walking distance, as is the beautiful beach.

    Great beach and safe bathing, especially for children. Beautiful civic gardens and plantings. Otherwise boring. Very few 3* plus restaurants, remaining were tourist "reas spoons" all with the same offers. Moules, steak, fish, standard French offerings. One outstanding cafe on the edge of the market square, called Concept 18. Weekly market was excellent. Boat trips and water related activities over priced by Spanish comparison. Planned walks and bicycles available. Many empty decaying properties, including hotels.

    Quiet charmlng resort .

    Quiet charmlng resort . I would for sure recommend to take the boat trip to the Glénan Islands. Limited offer of restaurants - I could recommend "Les Embruns" for fair food at a correct price. I think e-biking is the best way to discover the surroundings.

    The apartments are ideally situated behind the main beachfront shops and restaurants with gated paths that open directly onto the main street by the beach - it is genuinely only only a couple of minutes walk from any of the apartments to the beach, but far enough back to be relatively peaceful. Benodet is a peaceful and calm resort town anyway, with great restaurants, creperies, ice-cream etc. all available. The beach is really clean and the sea is calm and clear - great for swimming.

    Location was quiet and a short 10 min stroll along a shady footpath to Benodet beach. Property is spacious and decor is lovely. David was helpful on arrival and Vanessa was good at organizing time of arrival. Supermarket 5 min walk away.
