Joseph is very friendly and helpful and with the help of google translate, we were able to communicate well. The studio is on a farm in the middle of the countryside so super quiet. It is pet friendly so was ideal as we moved our cats from Spain back to England. It is incredibly peaceful and quiet and the room is equipped with everything you need and very comfortable. There is a town a short drive away with shops and a couple of large supermarkets. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Absolutely exceptional place, absolutely exceptional stay! Beautifully furnished quiet house with a wonderful garden, heated pool, outdoor seating. Mariel is a beautiful elegant lady who takes great care of her guests, preparing excellent breakfasts from local and home-grown ingredients. We really enjoyed our stay in her house! we loved the place with its horses, rose gardens, pool and friendly owners who take pride in presenting the moulin to visitors. The breakfast is incredibly; home made Marmelade, yogurts and fresh baguette. All in all a wonderful place to either unwind or use it as a base to see what the area has to offer.

The information and communication we received from Roch was excellent. He sent us lots of really useful guidance regarding the local area before our stay and always responded to our queries in a friendly and timely way. Property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. It is a compact property however there is some very clever use of space. The air conditioning was very welcome and needed, as we had very high temperatures during our stay. The outside space was fantastic with areas to eat or just sit and relax. There is a lovely garden area around the property attracting lots of birds and insects including bees and butterflies. A Thoughtfully placed gazebo meant we could sit and watch the sun go down and enjoy the views across the surrounding farmland. We especially loved the hammock !!! The location was idyllic. It felt rural whilst still being within easy reach of Chinon, attractions, supermarkets, restaurants etc.

Very nice appartment in walking distance of the center of Chinon. Friendly owner. Very clean, very good bed. Nice kitchen and some coffee pads are provided. There is a washing machine. And there is a bicycle shed at the end of the alley. It’s not locked. So bring your own bicycle lock.
