The room was absolutely gorgeous. The furnishing were beautiful. The bed and pillows were the best we had had in a 2 week driving holiday. The gardens were beautiful. There was coffee and tea making facilities and a mini fridge. There was wonderful fragrance dispersed in the room Details like a a free standing bath and lashings if hot water and No I don’t know the owner

Lovely apartment and the owner was very welcoming. Great communication and very clean. Close to restaurants and the river. This was an overnight stay but you could easily stay here longer. Parking was not outside but close by and free

The apartment was newly renovated and well appointed, it was spacious, light and airy, and had comfortable beds. The exterior of the old terraced building is rather tatty but the apartments themselves are nice. We had trouble with the capsule-type coffee machine which chewed up 3 of the 4 capsules provided without delivering a cup of coffee!

It was lovely! Extremely clean, everything you need was there, 2 en-suite power showers, perfect ambiance. Very well presented. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. 5 min walk to citadel

We went away for my birthday in November, we absolutely loved the flat. We took our 2 westie dogs. Perfect for them too as there is an outside space. Everything was immaculately clean. One of the best places we have stayed in France. Short walk to Blaye. We will definitely book again.

    Citadell is worth to visit and is the main attraction.

    Citadell is worth to visit and is the main attraction. Definitely visit Le Petite Cave wine shop and cafe and the art gallery! Otherwise, small towns around, each with a nice touch. Blaye itself is in some parts somewhat abandoned. Main street is lively but other streets empty and kind of sad empty houses. A few nice restaurants, would suggest one’s in citadell for a more quiet atmosphere.

    We loved everything about our stay here. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic - large and very comfortable.The swimming pool was very welcome after a long cycle ride and the secure bike storage was great. The breakfast choice was also wonderful: fresh croissants, apple tart, cheese meats, yogurts...I could go on! The location is very peaceful despite only being a short walk to the centre of Blaye and the citadel. We really hope to be back as soon as we can.

    This was a wonderful apartment in a great location in Blaye. Everything was perfect. Very peaceful. Emilie was soo helpful and helped us with restaurants, what to see and do. Lovely friendly atmosphere in Blaye. Everything just around the corner from patisserie to supermarket. We would definitely stay again.

    Herve is so kind and welcoming! We loved his breakfast spread and his maison. The location is great - very close to the main area of Blaye and the citadel. We were in Blaye for a wedding and this place was very convenient for us!
