Bonneval is rightly known as a very pretty village.
Bonneval is rightly known as a very pretty village. Just be aware that, like many such places, it virtually closes down as soon as the main season ends. We were there on 3/4 September and the supermarket had already closed. I almost don't want to write this because part of the charm...
I almost don't want to write this because part of the charm of Bonneval-sur-Arc is that it's a secret. It's a beautiful village. We were there for skiing and it was magical. There was plenty of parking on the perimeter of the village and they prefer cars not to drive into the actual village, so it's better for more mobile people. A couple of minutes drive from the old village to the ski area with easy free parking which means you don't have to hobble through Bonneval with boots and skis.Guest review byGayleUnited Kingdom
