The entire property is dated and "tired". It has not been updated since probably the 1970's. It is dark, messy and in need of updating and cleaning. Even the lobby is messy and dark- not a good first impression! Much "deferred maintenance" all around the property. Landscaping is overgrown and neglected. The rooms have seen many summers but meet all the necessary requirements. The hotel is in a rural setting and from the bedroom balcony there is a great view of the mountains, a lovely setting. The restaurant is fantastic, delicious French food, it is a must to eat here.
