The host was terrific at communication and let us check in early. The apartment was very clean, comfortable bed and good shower. It was very a hot day but the apartment had windows at either end, so we were able to get a lovely cross breeze and there was also a good fan in the bedroom. The host’s recommendations for restaurants were great, and there was also a fabulous patisserie/chocolaterie across the road for breakfast. Great location. Easy to find. Would recommend.

A very clean and comfortable private room with a great Queen bed. Nice bathroom fixtures and hot hot shower. Convenient location near train and bus stations, and a short walk to the Cité. Very good value. It was obvious the proprietor takes good care of the facility.,

We’ve enjoyed our stay very much, it is clear why this hotel has such great ratings, the owner is going above and beyond in his efforts to deliver great service. We definitely recommend a stay here while visiting the old city of Carcasonne.

A perfect escape from it all. A perfect wooden cabin on stilts with a beautiful view in a really peaceful location. It was just what we needed to relax and enjoy living in nature.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. A ten minute walk from the ancient city , ideally located in a quiet area , secure off road parking . The room was comfortable and stylish and the outdoor terrace was amazing - large with hot tub . The reception staff met us as we got out of the car and showed us to the room . After explaining the features of the room , including the electronic blinds , she brought us a lovely welcome drink to have with the fruit , biscuits and chocolates that were waiting in the room . The little details and touches are what makes this hotel feel truly 5 star . Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice and again the staff were very attentive and friendly . Breakfast could be taken in the restaurant or in your room . We tried both . We ate at the 2 Star Michelin restaurant on one evening , which was a fantastic experience . The food and service were amazing and it was nice to meet Chef . A massive plus for us was this hotel is dog friendly and they welcomed our little dog .

Location was beautiful in a small french village so peaceful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast and Dinner were top class. Absolutely loved it.
