The castle is amazing and has been very well refurbished. Even if it did not have air-conditioning, the temperature was just fine. We were able to take our dog, and she loved running around the vast property. You can also walk down to the river. From the swimming pool you have a lovely view of the castle. There is no restaurant, but if you ask, they can prepare you a few dishes that you can eat either inside or outside overlooking the grounds.

Perfect location for a stop over when driving to the south. Staff were absolutely lovely and were most helpful, enjoyed some good banter with the proprietor all be it with some help from Google. Food was very good.

The gite was beautifully clean, well equipped and big with a huge garden. It was in a peaceful locatipn on a farm but within a few km of Argenton sur Creuse and a supermarket. The wood fire was wonderful and the hosts were lovely. Great for wildlife and countryside. We'd definitely go back again.
