At Soudaine Laviandiere, I had the pleasure of staying in a quaint apartment that exuded charm and comfort. The English hosts were beyond hospitable, embodying the true essence of warmth and kindness. Surprisingly, they even assisted me with some tasks at my holiday home. Their generosity transformed a mere stay into an unforgettable experience, making it clear that sometimes, the people make the place. The staff were excellent and the wooden caravan was so cute, as a family of 3 with a dog it was ample space for us. The water pressure in the shower was really good and the drinking water the best we’ve had in France!

The wonderful fusion between the ancient house- and its sympathetic decor teeming with French Elegance - and the atmosphere of contemporary creativity, brought about by the fact that the house continues to be excitingly renovated. Pat and Eamon are super hosts: attentive, kind, welcoming and personable. Breakfasts were superb.

The place was lovely and they couldn’t have been more helpful, room was bright and airy and the communal area warm with a wood burner in the evening. Breakfast was perfect bread, with lots of meats and cheese. Cereal and yogurt as well but only had the yogurt, coffee machine so it was on tap and you could drink as much as you liked. They even had a fridge with beer in and you wrote down what you had.

just a fantastic place with lots of nice walking trails all marked out by the owner very friendly spoke som English that helped had space to park the bikes safe and was just all round great place to stay for a peacful time away
