A big thank you to Marette and Zoran, who were wonderful hosts. The property is an elegant mix of traditional style with all modern comforts. The newly landscaped swimming pool and sunny terraced area overlooks a private garden and offers peaceful relaxation. This is a family run Auberge located in a quiet village. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the whole place, we had an en suite which was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay en route to our destination. The owners are a delightful couple and Madame is a tour de force in the kitchen. We were a late booking but despite the fact that Madame was cooking for the whole village that night and frankly run off her feet, she still managed to put together a meal for us that was worthy of any upmarket restaurant, oeuf en cocotte with smoked salmon followed by king prawns in an amazing sauce - which sadly I never got the name of! The wine selection is excellent and my partner was more than happy with the draught lager. The auberge was slightly off our route but I had read a review saying it was worth a detour, so thank you to that reviewer for the heads up.

This gem of a hotel was reminiscent of the Logis style of small French family run hotels of old. No fuss, no frills, just good solid service with a smile and a warm welcome. It was immaculately clean and comfortable, well organised, provided the option of an evening meal at the onsite restaurant (which was good and tasty, if a little pricy) and an excellent generous and varied breakfast with a range of local products. Wifi was fast and reliable. Parking safe and easy, adjacent to the rooms. It was very good value for money.

A terrific choice of continental style breakfast foods. The location was perfect for our journey from the South to Calais. The facilities were bright, cheerful and very clean. Would definitely stay again if en route. despite language difficulties the staff were extremely helpful.
