I loved the situation, peaceful. The accommodation was excellent, bathrooms functioning brilliantly, beds really comfortable. Outside furniture outside our room and in the garden. Very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was a fabulous building and there was some great places locally to visit. The breakfast was good, but thought it was quite expensive at €16 each. We did have an issue with one of the bar staff who got very rude with us. We were just finishing our drinks and were told to leave the bar just before 11 and she turn the lights out whilst we were in there, which I don’t think it’s very professional.Guest review byGerard - 10.0

Excellent hotel in the heart of the British and Canadian areas of the D-Day landings. Set in a small village in beautiful surroundings, the hotel is very peaceful. It has a wide variety of accommodation within the hotel plus the proprietor owns other holiday accommodation nearby. Own transport is best (there is plenty of free parking) as public transport in the village is limited. It's perfect for anyone wanting to visit the d day sites and explore the area by car or to take advantage of the amazing trails by bike. Hostess Isabelle is a heartwarming hostess. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are plenty of opportunities nearby.
