The hosts, Wendy and Stephen, were wonderful and made us feel very much at home. Also, the garden is incredible, the room cozy and the breakfast really enjoyable. We only stayed two nights but it felt like a whole holiday, and would love to come back again. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The warm welcome immediately made us feel at home. The room was very cosy, with comfortable beds. In the evening we very much enjoyed the possibility to play pool and darts in the ‘play room’. Breakfast was very good with delicious scrambled eggs on toast. We really enjoyed dinner prepared for us on the second evening of our stay (delicious chicken with potatoes freshly harvested from the garden, followed by a big piece of very tasteful cake)

Gorron is a lovely small town. The host, Fred, was very friendly and helpful. All basic facilities were provided and it is a good-sized room. I did some remote working and enjoyed some evening sunshine through the window. A pleasant house in a lovely small town. I would visit again

The breakfast was really good, not being used to a continental breakfast it has very much changed our mind that you don’t need a heavy breakfast to start the day. Well positioned house as we had friends in the village, and the supermarkets are only a short drive away. The host was very welcoming and took my wife’s allergies in her stride
