The location is absolutely lovely,calm and bucolic. The room was spotless clean and the WiFi was available without problem. The restaurant has an excellent choice of fine meals , and the staff was kind and friendly. We even extended the stay one more night and clearly, we will come back later on the Summer, a true Gem!!! And "Biscuit", the house's puppy dog is hilarious!

Villa Maria is a charming, authentic bed-and-breakfast-type stay, effectively a large home in which the owners and family reside with a number of additional and spacious bedrooms that they expertly let out, we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We stayed in the spacious family suite, an entire upstairs private wing with two large bedrooms separated by a lovely spa-like bathroom and separate toilet room, with the owners providing all of the smallest highest-quality amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional breakfast, w fresh breads and even honey by their very own bees on the property no less, all prepared for us at the time of our choosing each morning. The indoor pool facility is a real highlight, we thoroughly enjoyed making use of it, and given the still relatively small size of the property, usually enjoyed having it all to ourselves on actually two different stays now. We'll be back!

We (2 adults, 2 young children) stayed here for two nights to break up a long drive. Adrien was very welcoming and the apartment was fantastic and would have been perfect for a much longer stay. It’s bigger than it looks in the photos, the beds are comfortable, and everything you need for self catering is there, including a washing machine. The air-con was also very welcome. We hadn’t planned anything in the area as it was just a stop over for us, but there were several guides on things to do in the nearby Bitche National park area, which looked good. We visited the Altschlossfelsen rocks and would recommend the walk there. Overall, this apartment exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend it.

location meant travel to next town for evening meal for 4 hungry bikers. however the owners took us there and back in their own car - amazing hospitality. They even made room for one more bike in their personal garage. Also ideal for maginot line visits - I will bring my boys here to visit the Simserhof Ouvrage at some point
