Beautiful, quiet area but walkable to all the interesting shopping and tourist areas. The staff were warm and welcoming. We appreciated the extra little items that made the room feel so special like a free jam and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. The rooms were comfortable and peaceful and we slept so well! Breakfast was lovely!

I loved this hotel and as someone who travels very often this place is in my top 3 boutique hotels I stayed so far. Very cozy atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff and smiles on their faces. The only suggestion on my end is to improve the photos on booking because I thought the rooms were really small but they weren't so the room size exceeded my expectations. Wish you the best of luck!

We booked a triple room with a balcony and the room was incredible. The size of the room and balcony was spacious and looked out to a gorgeous green garden. They have thought of everything in the design and amenities. The bathroom has an enormous shower, separate toilet and a bath. The staff were amazing, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Location is right near the cathedral and a short walk down hill to old town.

My overall experience at Ruck Hotel was great. The staff was very kind and they went above and beyond to fulfill any requests I had. The pick up at the airport was really appreciated and it made my travel very smooth. The food offered in the restaurant was excellent and so was the service there. The hotel itself was about 20 minutes drive from the Old Lyon and about same from the airport. It was perfectly close to my business place.

    The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Our first given room was very noisy from some machinery next door, however on request we were given a new quieter room. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. There was only three choices for the mains but it was simple, well cooked and delicious. The room was a good size for a budget hotel and the beds were comfortable. There was a kettle and some tea/coffee available in the room. The building with the rooms in, gave the feeling of a motel, as we were able to park the car just outside.

    Staff were exceptional. A credit to any hotel. I challenge you to find a friendlier amd more welcoming team. Phenomenal amd fotlr that reason alone if I ever find myself in Lyon again I would return.

    Staff has been very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect to stop over during a road trip. We could even have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel which was very convenient.
