    Incomparable stretch of sand beach ideal for families and activities. Hardelot has limited restaurants and other amenities being predominantly residential but simple fare can be found meeting a modest standard. It provides an ideal radiating point to visit the rest of Normandy.

    We went for the "Opale Harley Days" festival, and did not...

    We went for the "Opale Harley Days" festival, and did not spend much time on the beach, but we did watch the sun set over the sea which was beautiful. It was obviously very busy when we went but we could still see that it was a lovely resort, with a number of good restaurants and bars. The area is very clean and the roads very good with wide pavements and cycle lanes. There are some beautiful and interesting houses, some with curving thatched roofs, circular chimneys and unusual steep triangular shapes. A very pleasant and relaxing place to be.

    Good location for the town. Lots of local restaurants very close by and almost next door to a supermarket, laundry and petrol station. Not far from the beach. Hotel was very comfortable with a nice breakfast. Secure car parking at the rear of the hotel was a bonus because there is no where to park in the town when it’s busy.

    Clean hotel with decent size room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and good heating. Very good employees. Complete breakfast but not cheap (13,5 euros per person).Secure parking (8 euros per day) but many free parking places on the street ( we visited January, maybe it is difficult to find free parking on summer time...)

    This was our 2nd time at the hotel and again like the previous time we could not fault it ... great place to stay if you are heading for the channel tunnel or a ferry crossing
