Hotel was large enough to have all facilities with restaurant but still family run with personal touch. Management could notice have done anything more to improve our stay.

This was a delightful place for a stopover on our way south. Patricia looked after us beautifully. The room was lovely - clean, bright, airy and comfortable. The added bonus of having a swimming pool was much appreciated after a long drive. Breakfast was wonderful - lots of fresh fruit included. We were able to walk to a restaurant, recommended by Patricia, for dinner - 3 courses for 25€ each and superb quality. We loved the Boule d'Or !

Le Pigeonnier is a beautiful gites for everyone who likes peace and quiet and luxury. The kitchen is fully stocked and it was lovely to have a bottle of wine, tea, coffee and milk when we arrived. Jonathan is a super host. We really appreciated that he brought us baguette and croissant on the first morning for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the shower super. Jonathan not only met us personally but was also very responsive when we had any questions. I can highly recommend Le Pigeonnier if you want to visit the Cognac region.

I picked a room from Website and those are usually the rooms she rents when she has a wedding party group staying there but she said she gave me the room I picked. I didn’t see the ones I would’ve had downstairs if I hadn’t selected that room. Fabulous sheets, towels, & bed linens. This is a very small town and we actually were going to the Hennessy tour in Cognac which was half an hour away. We only stayed for one night because we were coming Le Mont Saint Michel and needed to be on our way to our next destination the following day. In the photos below, all except for two were our room or the places in the house we used except for the bathroom with the pink tiles around the tub and sink. I just thought that bathroom was so pretty I had to take a picture and post it. It goes with a different bedroom.
