This may be a "2 star" hotel but I think it is a lot better than some 3-star ones. The view (from the 2nd floor) is excellent and everything is clean and done well. It's spacious and quiet. Great location.

This is a very unusual location at first sight, the road is busy and relatively unassuming in looks, however we stayed in a top of this large house apartment with its' own terrace with views above of the old chateau and opposite direction to the river Seine, we caught this on a spring day sunset and it was lovely. The attention to design detail and the quality of fixtures and fittings is clearly evident and much appreciated. Our lady host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and served in a charming room in the main house, all in all a little gem and if in the area will certainly look forward to returning . The only caveat (unless we somehow missed it) was there was no air conditioning, which was a great surprise considering the overall quality of this apartment and as a loft room would be very warm in the summer months!

It was in an excellent location, easily walkable into town and also along the little stream to the river Seine and the old part of town. The accommodation was excellent. Very clean and comfortable and very tastefully decorated.

Right in the city center on a large square where you can park your car for free , at your doorsteps . On the square you can find supermarket , baker , bank , pharmacy , newspapers , bar , restaurant .... An apartment with a garden , a 10 , and despite the location very quite. Another 10 for the beds , comfortable and very clean , the beds are often an issue in France ! The host remained very professional and friendly , first we could not find the key box so we called her , then we could not enter , so we called again... she was patient . In fact there was no difficulty at all we were just too tired , driving for 7 hours to figure the systeem. We choose to stay in Les Andelys as we wanted to visit Monet house in Giverny the next day , a 30 mn drive. It was a good choice.

Located in the center of the town with the only door with a sign 'gite' above the entrane, we had no problem finding the best place to stay overnight in Les Andelys. We travelled by bicycle that we could store in the backyard. Owner arranged for our stay on short notice and was very helpful and supportive.

Charming hotel in a romantic setting on the banks of the Seine set in a lovely village. Had a very nice dinner in their delightful garden overlooking the river. It doesn't get better than that! Large room, tastefully decorated with excellent shower/bathroom. Generous buffet breakfast. Hosts were very accommodating. Chateau Gaillard in walking distance. Highly recommend!

    A pleasant and historic town in an excellent location beside the River Seine. Well worth a visit or short stay in this very scenic part of the countryside. A nice selection of restaurants and riverside walks. The famous castle Chateau Gaillard is accessible above the town.

    Lovely village resting on the Seine.

    Lovely village resting on the Seine. It does take time and effort to get to by train and bus. If you are interested in history the Chateau Gaillard is worth the trip. It is also a good idea to do your homework before coming and to know the train and bus timetables. There is a really helpful Tourism centre who can answer your question once you arrive.

    The property was very spacious and comfortable for my young family with excellent facilities we didn’t need half of what we packed with us for our stay as the apartment was equipped with everything you could need. It was very easy to gain access & also the location was perfect right in the middle of the square with everything you could need within a 2 minute walk. We visit family in les Andelys every year but this was our first time staying here we will definately be staying here from now on.

    A very old quirky hotel with some lovely touches. In the process of being renovated. Super host, very friendly and helpful. On the banks of the Seine, very close to Giverny. Our room Margot, had views of the river and the ruins of the castle built by Richard the Lionheart. Had a sharing board of cheeses & cold meats watching the boats sailing past on the Seine, definitely not a corporate hotel, really memorable.
