Wonderful location, compact and comfortable room, stylish decor with playful use of materials. Staff who we met were great, good breakfast and coffees. Visiting in October, the misty cool river in the morning was very atmospheric ahead of the hot sunny day to come.

Quiet country location. Exceptional hosts and good meals provided in the price. Stand alone chalet was a nice change. Great biking roads around the area, also hiking along the Robert Louis Stephenson trail.

An astonishing discovery. À huge rambling charismatic farm complex with everything one could wish for. Dogs with blue eyes descended from wolves, cats, donkeys, pigs, chickens. Walks through woods orchards and vineyards to cascades, treehouses and medieval mines and Neolithic menhirs. Dinner cooked over an open fire. Home made bread, conserves, cheese, sausage, liqueurs, honey. Wifi that works everywhere (fibre) à library, piano, good hot water, comfortable bed. Spring water flowing. I loved every bit of it.

Superb, modern hotel, the first I've stayed in that had all facilities for disabled travellers. Superb location, super comfortable, first class dinners and breakfasts. The chef who I think may have been the hotel owner, and his staff gave first class food ( entrees, main dishes and deserts). Fantastic. Best hotel overall that I've stayed at in France over several years visiting France. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and Cordula who was on reception every day bar one, was multilingual. All other staff on reception and who waited during evening dinners were all brilliant. I'd certainly stay here again if I could get a booking next year.

Location was absolutely amazing, so beautiful. The view was splendid. Staff was very kind and attentive. Really good food in the restaurant with nice wine list. The room was quite small, but well arranged. The bed was comfortable. Village was interesting to walk around, well restored medieval village.
