Everything was excellent, we wish we knew in advance how nice it is, we would have stayed an extra day or two. Also make sure you dine at the small outdoor restaurant down by the river called La Capitainerie. Amazing food and wonderful owners who run it.

    Meung-sur-Loir is a very pretty medieval town and we would...

    Meung-sur-Loir is a very pretty medieval town and we would have loved to stay longer there so we could have seen more of the local sites e.g. the castle. Our only disappointment with the town was that there was nowhere open to eat out on a Tuesday night so we had to go to our accommodation to cook. Luckily we had the foresight to take pasta with us in case of such an emergency. Luckily we had booked an apartment with cooking facilities and not just a room.

    A lovely sleepy village in amazing countryside.

    A lovely sleepy village in amazing countryside. There is a real sense of relaxation amidst a busy farming community. A few nice shops and restaurants. A beautiful old Church and chateaux. We have been many times and will be going back later in the year.

    An interesting historic centre to wander around. Plenty of free parking. We were disappointed in the restaurant we chose but there may have been other better ones. We did not have time to explore the town as much as we would have liked but hope to in the future.

    Beautiful old building full of history and character. Rooms are spacious and clean and the view ... beautiful! It's a shame the restaurant is so expensive !It's not part of the hotel and operates independently. Would be better if it was part of the hotel and a bit more reasonable!!

    We didn’t have breakfast. It’s a shame the restaurant next door hasn’t been rebuilt yet - we like a restaurant within walking distance so will probably choose another hotel next year. Only other comment is that when a triple is booked the sheets should already be put on the bunk bed. This was the case at the ibis budget Limoges, but we had to put the sheets on ourselves at Meung sur Loire who can is very awkward and difficult. The bed has been booked and paid for so should have sheets already on it as far as I am concerned.

    A very nice place to stay in Meung-sur-Loire! The House and the Garden are beautiful and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. Tasty Continental Breakfast with some very nice local and homemade specials. Save and spacy parking inside the garden.
