Un air de Champagne is a lovely little cottage situated in charming village of Millac. The facilities were fantastic and my wife and I had a very restful night. The hosts were incredibly helpful in phoning a bicycle repair shop in Saint-Junien and notifying the staff about our impending visit to repair one of our bicycles. This accommodation is perfect if you are looking for a tranquil stay in the French countryside.

The location was perfect for us. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and delicious home made preserves too. Our room was comfortable, the shower was great and we had a beautiful view from our room. John and Jane were very warm and welcoming hosts, they speak very good French and nothing was too much trouble for them. They have created a lovely chambre d'hote with a real focus on making their guests feel comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did not have breakfast but had dinner in the restaurant which was superb. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Perfect for an overnight stop.

We loved this hotel for a host of different reasons. We’re cycling in a heatwave so the air conditioned room felt wonderful. It was clean, comfortable with a big sliding door opening onto the garden. I think all rooms have this. The pool was large and clean and the lake was beautiful. We had a great meal there as well. But the biggest plus we want to give is the fact that my husband left his credit cards there. He realised about 30 minutes into our uphill cycle ride and we didn’t want to turn back. So we called and the wonderful owner picked up his cards and drove to meet us in a nearby town. Wow. She was exceptionally kind. We liked her vivacity anyway, and this was that extra step not make would make.

Staying here was like having a five-star hotel all to yourself! Marina welcomed us warmly, provided us a safe place to keep our bicycle, reserved us a table at a local restaurant, and prepared for us one of the best breakfasts we had on our bicycle ride across France! The accommodations were fantastic. Every moment of our stay was delightful.
