We have had the privilege to have lived in the Alsace and Mittelbergheim felt like coming home. The village is really typical for the Alsace and is a great place to stay also in winter to visit the Christmas markets. An unspoilt village, lots of wooden houses, vignerons happy to give free tastings, bright flowers, storks, set amongst vineyards. We looked forward to the market but a hail storm saw it off. Room perfect, bathroom perfect. Breakfast perfect, location amazing. Unbelievable fairytale village . Lots of wine domains in the Restaurant serving traditional wholesome food. Lovely staff. My dog made welcome too, in breakfast room and restaurant. How refreshing. Safe parking in courtyard. Will definitely be back as soon as possible.
