The owner and host provided a friendly and outstanding service from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent and just what we needed. The location was great for us on motorbikes and ideal for a nice walk in the evening

Perfect location for me - en route between Calais and the Volcans. Good evening meal and really friendly helpful staff. Room was immaculate with stunning brand new bathroom and lovely view out across the town square.

One of the quietest hôtels I have slept in. Was making my first trip back to the UK after losing my husband very suddenly. The staff didn't know, but were all very kind and helpful. The food was also delicious and the room very confortable, as well as having curtains which kept out the light...perfect! I was worried about being on my own..particularly under the circumstances...but felt fine being a solo traveller

Central location in the city. 5 minutes walking distance to the town hall and the old town. Beautiful views around. There is a bar. We didn't eat breakfast. The car can be parked on the street next to the hotel. We had a small room without a view, but it was suitable for an overnight stay. The hosts are friendly. Recommended for a short stay.

Spotless clean well set out anything and everything we needed just a bit away from motorway but was feasible and would use again , was only public parking we was a bit dubious because we had a car full of stuff and r e bikes on back but was in a very safe quiet street so was good

Absolutely loved this place!!!!! Highly recommend. Simple check in information was sent. You do need to climb stairs but the accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The Green wall is especially lovely. Finding somewhere to stay with a bath is rare so this was a real treat. Great location - able to walk up the street to shops / restaurants

    It was just a stop over on the way to the Dordogne.

    It was just a stop over on the way to the Dordogne. It was an ideal stop over. We had a late arrival and a nice welcome. We used the facilities to prepare a cold meal and breakfast. The car park was only yards away from the front door.

    Although the property was directly on a narrow street, it...

    Although the property was directly on a narrow street, it was quiet with little traffic. Parking was 200m from the property but reasonably accessible and secure. The property was small but characterful with good facilities; indeed ideal as a base for several days exploring the area. The big disappointment was the access by code. This was sent via Booking.Com at 3.35 on the day of our arrival. We were travelling at that time and arrived unaware of the code system to get access, No one was at the property when we arrived and we spent a couple of frustrating hours waiting outside until someone, we assume the owner, arrived to let us in. An inauspicious start but the rest of the stay was very good.
