Montrichard is well located for visiting the surrounding area and the chateaux, The town had all that was needed and was a typical French town with plenty of cafes. Everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful. It is only a 5 minute walk into town so no need to take the car. A pretty medieval town, with plenty of shops and restaurants...
A pretty medieval town, with plenty of shops and restaurants. The river Cher runs through the town and there's a river beach with facilities. We would recommend La Creperie du Donjon for delicious food and friendly service, as well as La Fabrique Trattoria for amazing Italian food and staff who speak excellent English.Guest review byBernadetteUnited Kingdom
