We stayed for 1 night. Arrived at 9pm and left after breakfast When we arrived, we thought it had closed down as all the shutters were down and we couldn't see any lights on. The owner who greeted us was very pleasant and checked us in The room as the rest of the hotel is very dated. It looks a lot nicer on the web site. It was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and there was another guest talking on the phone at 3.30am for a very long time that disturbed our sleep. I couldn't wait to check out. The breakfast was fine breads, jams, yoghurt and coffee for 7.40 euros each served by a very pleasant lady

The tents are big and roomy and secluded enough to make the stay private and peaceful. The staff weren’t fluent in English but we could understand each other. They were however super friendly and very quick to respond and act. We had a small problem which was sorted immediately and satisfactorily.

So French and the gardens were stunning. like a national trust! the pool was new and very nice. breakfast was a great continental spread. the beds were comfy and it was quiet. the lake was beautiful and the owners were friendly with good English. nearby Vierzon was 15 minute drive and had a lovely canal with restaurants and shops.
