We visited as a couple with a small dog. The property has a huge garden area that is right next to the beach. You are sharing this garden with the owners and you get a map where a specific area is assigned where you can freely move. The other parts are for the owner family ( there are no fences). The view is spectacular and especially the sunsets are beautiful. The house has a small terrace where you can have dinner and enjoy the sea. It was very calm and we rarely saw anybody in two weeks. Perfect place if you need a rest from people. Our dog loved the garden and fortunately got along well with the owners cat. There is a coastal foot path right at the beach that is perfect for walking the dog or a morning run. You can park your car inside the property and get a code for the gate.

The Hotel looked a little tired from outside but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was reasonably priced and was what just we wanted. Lots of parking directly opposite.

    Great beaches that are well connected by cycle paths that are mostly off road, ideal for a young family, and avoiding congested car parks. There is a good Carrefour supermarket in the centre of town, that gets very busy on Saturdays. Excellent bakeries and local restaurants serving galettes and local seafood at reasonable prices.

    Very well equipped and immaculate new house in the perfect spot for a visit to Penestin. Close to a large supermarket, the town centre with its market and dozen or more beautiful unspoiled beaches. Also perfect for cycling and running, or in our case walking. Quiet new estate with parking provided, a garden with patio for drinks in the evening sun. All the facilities you need, including use of 3 bikes.
