Port-en-Bessin is a small fishing village that has a wide range of restaurants and small hotels. It is easy to get to from Caen port and is good as a base to visit local beaches and other areas of historic interest. Great little fishing Port. Lots to see and do. Seafood Restaurants cannot be beaten ans great selection of them. Excellent location for travelling out to various museums and the local museum is a stunning collection recovered from the sea by a local diver who's lifetime's work is displayed ,from uniform buttons to FULL TANKS. Omaha Beach GC is one of the most demanding in the area with cliff top views of the beach. I have stayed here for over 10 years without regret.Guest review byjeffUnited Kingdom

The unit is a studio unit so it is a bit small, it is also looking a bit tired and worn, but the price makes up for this. It is all on the ground floor, but if you have mobility issues, there is quite a large step up into the shower. The location for visiting Bayeux and the Normandy Beaches is great. I assume guests can use the pool, it was far too cold for anyone to be swimming, but it looked clean. Nice outlook over the golf course. We watched fishing boats coming in and out with a lovely sunset. The bedroom was very comfortable, modern and clean with a great shower. We had our evening meal in the restaurant the staff were very friendly the food was excellent in a very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was very fresh with great tasting coffee.
