A perfectly preserved 12th century walled town, much to see and do, an entire underground city (Souterrains), medieval tower/prison, and just walking around - you are transported back in time. We stayed in the Demure des Vieux Bains Inn - so fabulous!! Had wonderful meals in great restaurants, it was the perfect 2 night trip. The mediaeval town of Provins has literally hundreds of fabulous old properties as well as the star sights of the Church, the Tower and the Walls. Close to lots of great restaurants - I can heartily recommend trattoria du Val and l'instant. We all loved this house, especially our kids. It's so unique, and the host really makes you feel welcome.
