At some time, we think in the recent past, the whole Hotel as been decorated to a high standard, our accomodation ( #31 ) which was at the rear was roomy, very comfortable, with all equipment/fittings in good order. Although we were at one of the farthest point from the Lift the corridor was clear with lighting automatically responsive. Although we did not eat any Hotel evening meals the restaurant decor and the menu were respectively attractive and appetising, the self-service/ buffet style breakfasts, which we did have, were exceptionaly good value. Finally, the welcome and help from the two receptionists that we encountered was of the highest calibre. Thank you for a most pleasant Autumn weekend.

Excellent location, very quiet and calm. Very good restaurant in the same hotel building. We were in low season, so there were not many opportunities to eat. You should book in advance the lunch and dinner. Rooms are exactly as described, perfectly fit our expectations. There is no lift, so think about the luggage.

Bernadette was very welcoming and made sure we could communicate fully. Bernadette gave us suggestions for possible restaurants in the area. We had a very good night's rest and breakfast, with homemade conserves and ham.

The chateau itself was beautiful, with fantastic views overlooking the river. The pool was great and so big compared to most others. Mark and Lindsey were superb hosts, very welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and we decided to have the evening meal which we would recommend. We will be returning if they will have us - and we hope to stay in the recently refurbished gite!
