We had a warm, friendly greeting from Sabrina who was a supportive and helpful host throughout our stay. The historic building was beautifully furnished with period decor creating a serene and rich atmosphere. Our room was spacious, quiet and well appointed. A variety of fresh food and drinks (cold or cooked) were available for breakfast. We hope to return one day!

Located on GR7, one of the main St Jean de Compostella routes between Fanjeaux and Mirepoix, this stay is a much-needed refuge in an isolated part of the camino. Also a lovely stopover for anyone on a cycling tour. The village of Hounoux stands on a sudden hill with commanding views over the surroundings. Unpretentious, comfortable accommodation and with kindly, welcoming hosts and a view over the Razes that could scarcely be beaten. A garage to store bikes. Hosts attentive and good company at breakfast. I wish them every success. Great value in terms of price and quality of stay.

Incredible, unique experience staying in this beautiful property with its original historical features. A peaceful, private setting, but also near to the medieval town of Mirepoix. The garden was great for our dog to freely run around. Our host was welcoming, helpful and v responsive.
