The property was conveniently located in what I could make out to be a beautiful village. It was dark and damp and my car had broken down, so I didn’t absorb too much of the surroundings. However, the property was amazing!! The accommodation itself was all and more than I could have hoped for. 5 stars all round!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Lovely apartment in a former factory that has been really well converted. Comfy beds (nice and firm), all on one level, which was great for our little boy, and well stocked. The location was fantastic - a free ferry just down the road takes you across to the beautiful La Bouille and there's a 20km completely off-road bike route into Rouen, much of which is alongside the Seine. Thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Luckily for us the Manager spoke good English. We had a delicious meal accompanied by a bottle of Chinon recommended by the Manger. Great after our journey from East Sussex! Bed comfortable, shower good, all very clean. The room was compact which we expected but it had everything we needed for our one night stopover on the way to the Vendee Globe. Breakfast good choice. Would highly recommend definitely for one night in November. Thank you to all the staff .

    Lovely little village.

    Lovely little village. Unfortunately in August the main essential shops close for their annual holiday ( butcher's, grocery shop, baker's, restaurant) but some villages have staggered holidays and there's always the markets which supply the fresh food at least once a week in the different villages. Supermarkets are only a few kms drive away. Very relaxing village with lots of walking in the area and lots of abbeys and chateaux.
