There is so much more than the photos disclose. Make sure you explore and enjoy all the beautiful spaces to sit and relax. It is so worthy of more than an overnight stop. The breakfast is delicious, healthy and enough to keep you fueled for the day. We arrived by bicycle ready for a rest and it was delivered in spades. There was also great accommodation for our bikes. Highly recommended. We will return.

Fabulous place, calmness personified,and very comfy ! A lovely place in an actual working farm, the couple (and their daughter) were delightful, nothing was too much bother ! We looked out of our very comfortable room (with all mod cons) onto a little balcony with table and chairs for breakfast and a great view over farmland and the scenery beyond ! The village was a three minute drive away with restaurants, a wine bar and some shops ! 10 out of ten . . . . we will definately use them again ! (If they forgive me for stupidly posting a scathing review for a few days which was meant for another establishment . . . I'M TRULY SORRY NATHALIE, I hope it didn't cause too much problem x)

The hosts were super nice and constantly available. The room in the Château was cozy, spacious, details well thought through and felt almost like a time-travel. Our 2 dogs were well received, and enjoyed the walks in the green surroundings. It's a short drive from the closest village if you want to enjoy the Château de La Rochefoucauld.

Probably one of the best gites we have stayed in. Facilities were spot on, Sandra and Vincent were flawless, very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely fabulous. Loved it. Buitiful home made products for breakfast. Really friendly welcome from lovely hosts. We didn't go out for an evening meal as we ate our own food at thier table. Even sat with them and watch France v Wales in the rugby (shame we were hammered). Will stay again when we are in the area😀😀😀

    We did not stay long enough to visit the local area as we were passing to go further south and it was a stop-over stay. A very nice place to do so too! We had a great rest and were re-energised to continue in our journey. The host has informative leaflets in the room that one could use, given the time, to explore the valley.
