Beautiful grounds with chickens and stunning pool. Gite itself was one of a group of gites and was full of character well laid out and very well equipped for our group of three friends or for several more. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings with an excellent host who was both friendly and helpful but also discreet Very well located for the southern Vendée area/marais poitevin/Puy de Fou and La Rochelle

The property is situated in beautiful surrounding countryside, but only a short drive from local shops. The accommodation was lovely and really well kitted out. The pool was lovely and the facilities were great. Jerome and his wife Ewelyn (and their family) are simply wonderful. Such kind and thoughtful hosts. They couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. We plan to return!

The accommodation was fabulous and had every little detail covered. We found the whole site an absolute joy to stay in. The pool made it extra special, so beautifully built and the gardens and grounds were gorgeous. Sitting and watching the sun go down in the evening and come up again the next morning in such a lovely setting was the ‘icing on the cake’ The owners were approachable, extremely helpful and kind.

This was easily one of our favourite stays! We spent two nights in this beautifully renovated French farmhouse, surrounded by tranquil countryside and just a short walk from a serene lake. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect—peaceful yet only 15 minutes from nearby towns with all amenities & great if visiting Puy du Fou. Breakfast delivered to the room each morning was a real treat, with a delicious selection to enjoy. It was an ideal base for visiting Puy du Fou, and we only wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
