Beautifully restored old chateau with many of the old features maintained. The bedroom was the size of 2 “standard” rooms with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. And a very unique feature in the bathroom - one of the original beams running thru it!

Stunning location up a country road from Leuc. Easy to get to places like Carcassonne and Limoux if you have a car. It would also provide a nice place to stay and just relax in the grounds if you weren't looking to travel around to the local attractions. The grounds are very well kept. Great outdoor eating and drinking area which can be lit up at night to create a romantic ambiance. Small but neat pool area, ideal for couples and families. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had enough variety to please everyone. My wife turned 40 during our stay and Simon, our host, left a surprise bottle of fizz with a birthday message, which was a lovely thing to come back to after a day out. Simon was an attentive and informative host.

Fatiha is a miracle. She is not just a host, she is an angel who looks after you and takes care of you from the moment you arrive until you leave. I am sorry that there is no 15 rating because 10 does not express what this place deserves. I have been travelling for many, many years, several times a year, so I have seen it all. You will only experience the kindness and care that you receive here in very few places. I could talk about the accommodation, the size of the bathroom, how comfortable the bed is, but you can find these qualities elsewhere, it is the personality of the host and the atmosphere of the place that makes the difference. I arrived from Andorra and unfortunately I was quite late, I arrived sometime after midnight. (I apologize for the delay.) I received the instructions for the auto-check-in, but Fatiha came out to meet me at the parking lot and showed me to my accommodation. Otherwise, I would have waited a while to find the entrance at night. So that was a big help. There are flowers all the way to the accommodation, well-groomed roses on the stairs leading to the entrance, you can smell them all the way up. But that sets the mood. The room is spacious enough, you have your own refrigerator, the bed is comfortable, the room is well equipped, the bathroom is spacious and has everything. I liked the little sofa next to the bed, where you can put your bag or even sit on it when you arrive. The furnishings have this mixed East-West feel, I really liked that too. And then there's another great thing. You don't need a kitchen, because Fatiha will cook for you if you ask. The menu is also available on a website, which is where I chose it. You shouldn't miss it! I went to Marrakech last year, tasted a lot of local food, in different restaurants, but nowhere did I eat as delicious as what Fatiha made for me. And you have to try her cakes too!

Beautiful location, extremely peaceful & very welcoming host. We had dinner on the terrace which was delicious. The host and her family engaged well with us and were happy to meet our every need. There were many facilities- swimming pool, games room, bar, indoor and outdoor seating areas. Judith advised us where to go for a walk in the surrounding area where we saw many different varieties of butterflies - one of our main interests. We wish we could have stayed longer. A genuine 5-star establishment.

Highly recommended! We only went for one night but we felt at home, they are a wonderful couple. They helped us with everything we needed, gave us tips on places to visit and where to eat, very friendly. The stay was perfect, big room, air conditioning, WiFi, everything clean and calm.
