Set in a beautiful location by the River Sioule, we received a very warm welcome by Andy and Richard, who continued to be most hospitable and friendly throughout our overnight stay. Les Roches has been tastefully renovated and the restaurant is beautiful, with tables overlooking the river. The evening meal was very good….far too much for the main course of lamb shank! Dessert was delicious. (Definitely book for the evening meal as the location is more remote). We wish Andy and Richard continuous success in their venture and hope one day to return for another stay.

The view, the comfy beds, the hostess and their friendly dog, full boxes of toys upon arrival (legoes and cars for our boys, plus sets of drawing since they learnt ours like to draw❤️). Check in at 16h but they are nice to let us come 2 hours in advance, we end up extending a night cos the kids wouldn’t want to leave anymore. The pictures didn’t do the place justice, you can see the chateau de chouvigny right above the property, the property was actually a dépendance of the castle once. Very nice and calm place to stay.

Very charming house, brand new, cousy very well equiped and relaxing. The right place to stay. The host is very kind and helpfull and we had a great time at a restaurant called; Le Beau Site Auvergne at a beautiful location, at 20 minutes drive from the house. Thanks very much Stephanie!,
